Mexican Pride

I don't claim ownership since I didnt draw it. The image was off the net, but I failed to find the author's name. Any info on appropiate credit would be appreciated.

- Tittled "orgulla Mexicana", which translates to Mexican Pride

the original drawing was in b&w and I added colour. It is supposed to represent the evolution of the Mexican society, possibly also double emphasis upon the role of the women, throughout the rich history.

The woman on the bottom left represents the roots of the civilisation, The Aztecs. The central woman represents the era in which Mexico defined itself as a nation through the revolution and independence from Spain, while the third woman represents the modern society.
