I don't claim ownership since I didnt draw it. The image was off the net, but I failed to find the author's name. Any info on appropiate credit would be appreciated. Original B&W: [link]
- Tittled "orgulla Mexicana", which translates to Mexican Pride
the original drawing was in b&w and I added colour. It is supposed to represent the evolution of the Mexican society, possibly also double emphasis upon the role of the women, throughout the rich history.
The woman on the bottom left represents the roots of the civilisation, The Aztecs. The central woman represents the era in which Mexico defined itself as a nation through the revolution and independence from Spain, while the third woman represents the modern society.
I believe this [link] is likely the original, and the original artist.
You did nice coloring work on this.

"It's a shame. The greatest, most revered artists in the world used references. Be they live models or images. The fact that people seem to think it demeans them to own up to the same methods leaves me, quite frankly, a little speechless."
I dunno, the rest of their work seems pretty consistent to that style. Pretty convincing they're the original artist. *shrug* I dunno. All well, you're welcome.

Its no problem, because it's true. I wish could do that kinda thing with computer programs and whatnot. But I'll stick with the traditional pencil. hehe

Am guessing they used it as inspiration and modified the background, but still. Thanks!
